Chapter 10 of "Growing Up"

Donna grabbed Taylor's hand and pulled him over to the stage. They peeked out and saw a vast amount of people filling up the arena.

"Oh wow!" Taylor exclaimed. "This is going to be awesome!" Taylor stuck his head out further, and a group of girls spotted him. They began to scream at the top of their lungs.

"OH MY GOD!! IT'S TAYLOR HANSON!!!!!!!" one girl shrieked. Taylor waved and quickly pulled his head back in. Donna and Taylor laughed.

"Tay, come here!" Isaac called. Taylor and Donna walked over to where Ike was standing. He had a huge grin on his face.

"What is it Ike?" Taylor asked.

"Guess who's here!" Isaac exclaimed.

"Who?" Donna asked. Isaac pulled a figure from behind a curtain.

"Jess!!!!" Donna screamed. Donna ran over to Jessica and hugged her. "What are you doing here??"

"I wanted to surprise you guys!" Jess said, as she hugged Taylor.

"This is so awesome!" Donna said.

"Ahem," a voice said from behind Donna. Donna turned around, and found Lindsay standing behind her.

"Oh Linds," Donna said. "This is Jess. Jess, Lindsay." Jess stuck her hand out, and Lindsay shook it.

"Nice to meet you," Jess said. Isaac grabbed Jess around her waist. Lindsay gave Jess an evil glare, but she didn't notice. Zac went running by. Donna managed to grab his sleeve and pull him back.

"Whoa!" she exclaimed. "Where are you off to, Zac-Man?" Just then, Walker walked up to the group.

"You guys ready to go on?" he asked. Isaac nodded. He quickly kissed Jess on her lips, and Taylor gave Donna a hug and a peck on the cheek.

"Good luck," Donna whispered. Taylor nodded and smiled.

"Let's go guys!" he exclaimed. He, Isaac, and Zac ran on-stage. The crowd went wild.

"Hey guys!" Isaac yelled into a microphone. "How are you all tonight?" The huge crowd of teenage girls screamed. "Before we start, wed like to say hi to our friends, Jess, Donna, and Lindsay!!" Lindsay shrieked and grabbed Donna's arm.

"He said my name!" she said in an excited voice. Donna grinned. She looked back at the stage. Taylor was smiling at her from his position behind the keyboard. Donna smiled back and waved. Zac banged his drumsticks together and counted off, and the guys launched into "Where's the Love.

About 45 minutes later, Isaac, Taylor, and Zac had played through Where's the Love, MMMBop, A Minute Without You, Speechless, and Man From Milwaukee. Taylor took the microphone and walked over to the side of the stage and reached for Donna's hand. She gave him a confused look, but took his hand. Taylor pulled her to the center of the stage.

"Hey guys!" Taylor said into the mike. "I want you to meet Donna!" Donna laughed nervously and waved to the crowd. The girls screamed, just at the sight of Taylor. "This one's for you Donna," Taylor whispered into Donna's ear. He kissed her lightly on her lips.

Taylor pulled Donna over to his keyboard, and sat her down on a chair that had been placed by it. Donna gazed at Taylor as he stepped behind his keyboard. Taylor smiled at her, and began playing the opening chords to I Will Come to You. He looked into Donna's eyes the whole song. At the end of the song, he stepped offstage for a second and walked back over to Donna, holding a single red rose. He handed it to Donna and kissed her again.

"I love you," he said. Donna felt the tears welling up in her eyes.

"Oh Tay," she said. "This is so sweet."

Meanwhile, Isaac, Jess, Lindsay, and Zac had rounded up and walked over to Taylor and Donna. The six of them held hands and bowed deeply.

"Thanks for coming everyone!!" Isaac shouted into the mike.

"Yeah!" Zac said. "Hope you had fun, and drive safely!!" Zac laughed, and the others joined in. Then they all ran offstage together.

"Woohoo Tay!" Zac exclaimed, as Taylor took Donna's hand.

"Way to go little bro," Isaac said smiling. Taylor grinned, and Donna wiped her eyes.

"I can't believe you did that Tay," she said smiling.

"I just wanted to prove to you how much I care about you," Taylor said.

"Well, you proved yourself," Donna said. "Wow. What an incredible night."
