"Donna, wake up!!" Donna heard someone shout in her ear. She opened her eyes and found Zac standing over her, grinning.
"Okay good," he said stepping away. "You're up."
"Obviously," Donna said sitting up. She looked around the room. Taylor was still sound asleep on the floor. Donna grabbed a pillow and threw it at him. It hit him in the head, and he sat up quickly and looked around.
"What the..." he began. "What happened?" Donna smiled.
"Get up sleepyhead," she said getting out of the bed.
"Yeah Tay," Zac said. "We're leaving soon."
"I'm going to take a shower," Donna anounced as she grabbed her bag and headed towards the door. "Be back soon."
Donna entered the bathroom and took a quick shower. She got changed into a pair of jeans, a striped T-shirt, and put a navy blue sweater on over her shirt. She blow-dried her hair straight, and put on her makeup. When she was satisfied with her appearance, Donna left the bathroom. She knocked on the bedroom door, and Taylor opened it.
"Going to take a shower," he said, brushing past her. Donna walked into the bedroom and gathered up her things. She put on her shoes and walked out the door and downstairs.
"Morning!" she said as she entered the kitchen. Diana, Isaac, Jessica, Avery and Mac were sitting around the table.
"Good morning!" Diana exclaimed. "Did you sleep well?" Donna nodded and glanced at the clock.
"So..." she said, sitting down. "What time are we leaving?"
"Oh, in about a half hour," Diana answered.
"Here I come!!" Zac yelled as he ran into the kitchen.
"Zachary," Diana said sternly. "Don't run." Zac stopped running and sat down next to Donna.
"G'day mate," he said in an Australian accent.
"G'day," Donna said with a grin.
"Zac, are you all ready to go?" Diana asked. Zac nodded.
"Yepperoo!" he exclaimed.
"Is everyone ready?" Walker asked as he entered the kitchen. Everyone nodded. "Okay then, let's pack up the car and go!"
"Wait," Isaac said. "Where's Tay?" Donna stood up.
"I'll get him," she said. She climbed the stairs and walked down the hall to the guys bedroom. The door was partially closed, and Donna pushed it open. "Taylor?" she said.
"Yeah?" he replied, emerging from the closet. He was wearing baggy jeans and sneakers, but no shirt.
"Ummm...Tay. You know it's pretty cold out. You might want to consider wearing a shirt," Donna said smiling.
"I need to pick one out," Taylor explained, looking around the room. "Will you help me?"
"Sure," Donna said walking towards the closet. She reached in and pulled out a light blue, long-sleeved shirt. "Here," she said, handing it to him. "This color looks good on you." Taylor took the shirt from her and put it on.
"Thanks," he said.
"No problem," Donna said. "You ready now?"
"Lemme just tie my hair back," he said grabbing a brush from the floor. He quickly pulled his hair into a low ponytail. "Okay, let's go," he said. They walked down the stairs together, and arrived at the front door together.
"After you," Donna said.
"No," Taylor said. "After you." Donna and Taylor laughed, linked arms, and walked out the door together.
"Aaaaawwwwwww....." Isaac said when Taylor and Donna got into the backseat of Isaac's truck. "Look at the two lovebirds." Zac turned around his seat and made a face.
"No funny business back there," Isaac teased.
"Can it Ike," Taylor said. "Can it what?" Zac asked. He and Isaac laughed. Taylor rolled his eyes. Donna laughed. Isaac pulled out of the driveway and began to follow Mr. and Mrs. Hanson to the airport. Taylor reached over and took Donna's hand. Donna smiled at him and leaned her head on his shoulder.
