"Donna?" a voice whispered.
Donna stirred. She felt someone shaking her. Donna opened her eyes and found Avery standing over her. Donna smiled.
"Good morning Avie," she said. "What's up?"
"Zac wanted me to wake you up. They're leaving soon."
"Thanks Avery," Donna said as got out of the bed and dragged her tired body to the bathroom.
Donna took a quick shower and got dressed. She pulled on a pair of black cords, a light blue T-shirt, and threw a navy blue sweater on over the shirt. Donna blow-dried her hair straight and examined her reflection in the mirror. She ran her fingers through her hair. "It's getting long," she said to herself. Donna's hair had grown a lot, about halfway down her back. Donna brushed her teeth, and finally exited the bathroom. She searched the room for her Doc Martens, and finally found them behind the dresser. She put them on, gave her hair a few brushes, and after a quick debate, decided to leave her hair down. She walked over to the bed, and picked up the phone to call Lindsay.
Meanwhile....Taylor rolled over and saw Isaac standing in front of the dresser, combing his hair.
"Well, good morning Sleeping Beauty," he said when he saw Taylor.
"How can you be so cheerful so early in the morning?" Taylor said more to himself than to Ike.
"Wake up Zac, will you Tay?" Isaac asked.
"Gladly," Taylor said, as he threw a pillow at Zac, who was sleeping on the floor. Zac awoke with a start.
"Get up Zac," Taylor ordered, as he climbed out of his bed and headed towards the bathroom. 15 minutes later, Taylor opened the bathroom door and walked back to the bed.
"Your turn Zac," he said, sitting down. Zac bounded towards the bathroom and shut the door behind him. Taylor sighed and laid back.
"Tay come on," Isaac said, tossing Taylor a gray button-up shirt. Taylor sat back up and put the shirt on. "So, do you know what you're going to do about you and Donna?" Taylor shrugged.
"I'm not sure," he said, as ran a comb through his damp hair. Isaac thought for a minute, then smiled.
"I think I have an idea," he said.
"What is it?" Taylor asked.
"Well, how about you..."
Donna hung up the phone, smiling to herself. Lindsay had freaked out when she found out about her backstage pass, just as Donna had thought she would. Donna stood up, glanced in the mirror one more time, and knocked on the door leading to the guys bedroom.
"Yeah?" she heard a voice, probably Zac's, call from the other side.
"It's me, Donna," she called back. "Can I come in?" A few seconds later, the door opened, and sure enough, Zac was standing there, grinning. Donna smiled at Zac. "Are you guys almost ready?" she asked.
"Almost Donna," Isaac said as he ran past the door. Donna entered the room, and sat down in an armchair. Zac was standing by the bed, looking through his suitcase for a shirt to wear. Isaac was running around, trying to find his leather jacket. Taylor was sitting on the bed, smiling at Donna. Donna smiled back.
"How about this one?" Zac asked, holding up a blue shirt. Donna nodded. "Looks good Zac," she said. Zac put the shirt on, and Donna glanced over at Taylor. He was still sitting there, staring and smiling at Donna. Donna looked at him strangely.
"What are you smiling at Tay?" she asked.
"Oh nothing," Taylor said with a smile. There was a knock at the door, and Walker walked into the room.
"You guys ready to go?" he asked. Isaac, who had found his jacket in the bathroom, nodded.
"We're ready dad," he said. "We just have to pick up Donna's friend on the way to the arena." Walker nodded.
"Okay, if you guys are ready, then lets go," he said. Taylor stood up and grabbed his jacket. Donna ran back to her room and grabbed her blue Nike jacket. She ran back into the guys room, and followed the others out into the hallway.
"Is everything already at the arena dad?" Taylor asked. Walker nodded. "Donna, think you could help me find your friends house?" Donna nodded and smiled.
"Sure thing," she said.
A few minutes later, Walker, Ike, Taylor, Donna and Zac were walking across the parking lot towards the van the Hanson's had rented. Walker got into the drivers seat, and Isaac grabbed the passenger seat. Donna and Taylor took the seat furthest back, leaving Zac by himself in the middle seat.
"Okay Donna," Walker said as he started the truck. "Which way?"
About 10 minutes later, Walker pulled into Lindsay's driveway. Donna climbed over Taylor, and opened the van door.
"Be right back," she said. Donna ran across Lindsay's front yard, and opened the front door. "Linds?" she called.
"In my room!" a voice called from upstairs. Donna pounded up the steps, and entered Lindsay's bedroom.
"Hey Lindsay," she said. Lindsay emerged from her closet.
"Hi Donna!" she said in an excited voice. "Do I look okay?" Donna examined Lindsay's choice of clothes. Lindsay was wearing a pair of light brown corduroy overalls and a cream-colored thermal shirt.
"Perfect," Donna said, grabbing Lindsay's arm. "Come on," she said, pulling Lindsay down the stairs. "We have to go." Donna waited for Lindsay to lock up the house, and then the two girls walked back to the van. Donna got in first, and climbed back by Taylor. Lindsay sat next to Zac.
"Hi guys!" she said in an excited voice.
"Hey Lindsay," Ike said, turning around and smiling at her. "You excited about the concert?" Lindsay nodded.
"Definitely. I can't wait."
"Dad how much farther?" Taylor asked.
"Only a few minutes," Walker said.
