Donna awoke a little while later. She looked at her watch and saw that only 3 hours had gone by. Donna looked over at Taylor and saw he was sound asleep. She leaned over him and tried to get her dad's attention.
"Hey Dad," she said. "How much longer?"
"About 2 and a half hours," Donna's father answered.
Donna leaned back in her seat. She heard Taylor mumble something in his sleep and looked over at him. Tay's eyes fluttered, then opened. He looked at Donna.
"Where are we?" he asked sleepily.
"On our way to Australia," Donna replied. "Remember?" Taylor nodded and rubbed his eyes.
"Are we almost there?" he asked.
"About 2 and a half more hours," Donna said. Taylor leaned back in his seat and sighed.
"This is so boring," he said.
"You're telling me," Donna said as she reached into her bookbag and pulled out her journal and a pen. She opened the book and began to write.
"What's that?" Taylor asked.
"My journal," Donna replied.
"You have a journal too?" Donna nodded.
"I've been writing in it for about 2 years," she said.
"Wow. I've only been keeping mine for less than a year," Taylor said. Donna closed the book.
"Do you write everyday?" she asked. Tay nodded.
"Cool," Donna said as she put her journal back into her bookbag. She yawned and reclined her seat back. She fell asleep a few minutes later.
"Donna, wake up. The plane is landing." Donna heard a faint voice. She opened her eyes and looked around.
"Good you're up," Tay said.
"We're landing?" Donna asked. Taylor nodded.
"Zac stop that this instant!" Diana exclaimed. Donna glanced over at where Zac was sitting. He was pretending to throw up into a barf bag. Donna giggled. Zac looked up and smiled guiltily.
"Sorry mom," he said. The plane landed with a jolt. Donna unbuckled her seat belt and stood up. She followed the rest of the group off the plane.
**Sorry this chapter is so boring! But how exciting can a plane ride get???**
